Rita and Mark had bought the old home for a steal. It had been in the market for a week when a friend mentioned it to Mark.
Since the home was an old one, it required extensive renovation. The kitchen and the bedrooms had plaster peeling off the walls. The floors had cracked. They needed fresh curtains and carpets too. It was a huge project but they had some money stashed away and they had time.
